History

Back in 1958, our credit union was open a grand total of one hour per day and one of our first loans was for $200. Humble beginnings, to be sure.

In 1989, when we became PT&T Federal Credit Union, big changes to our infrastructure and our ability to help more and more members really took shape. Then, on June 30, 2000, PT&T Federal Credit Union became MemberSource Credit Union under a new state charter issued by the Texas Credit Union Department. And the rest is history, so to speak.

As much as we appreciate our past, we always look for opportunity in our future – to deliver the Right Solutions for every member. After all, the members we’ve helped in the past might be happy, but the members we can serve in the future will help drive the credit union’s success for decades to come.
