These practices are followed by the credit union and its affiliate, Credit Union Acceptance Corporation (CUAC), which provides an indirect lending program.

We do not permit these companies to sell any information provided by us to other third parties. MemberSource Credit Union and its affiliate do not sell or share any member information with nonaffiliated third party marketers. While we may offer financial products and services of our indirect lending affiliate or other third parties, we control the member information used to make such offers.
Information We Collect About You
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications and other forms
- Information about your transactions with us or our affiliate, CUAC, which provides an indirect lending program
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency
- Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms; this may be obtained from your current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Our commitment to provide you with competitive products and services may require that we share information about you with our indirect lending affiliate, third party service providers and companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. However, we limit any disclosures of personal information to the extent necessary to service your account. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of the credit union, and follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security of our financial records. Information we may have about former members is only shared if required to enforce or administer an account or as required by law.
We may also disclose information we collect about you in response to a lawful request issued by a court, government agency, or regulatory authority or as permitted by law in order to administer or enforce your account. We may also share our experience information about you with credit bureaus. Our reporting to credit bureaus is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which affords you the right to make sure that your credit bureau reports are accurate.
How We Protect Your Information
Information we receive via online applications is secure and requires industry standard Secure Socket Layer encrypted browsers. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, or procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Protecting your privacy is an ongoing process and we will continue to review the measures we take to safeguard your personal information.
